Walter Wanyama, Ph.D

Walter Wanyama holds, a PhD and Master in Science, degrees, in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University, Lubbock TX. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Engineering, University of Nairobi, Nairobi (Kenya).


Walter has experience as a Hydraulic Systems Engineer, Caterpillar Inc., Sanford, North Carolina where he has worked from July 2000 up to today.

Appropriate Technology Training from Larenstein International Ag. College, Deventer (The Netherlands) where he worked in 1992.

He also worked as an Engineer, Technology Design & Development (RTDU/AMTU) in Machackos (Kenya) from 1987 to 1995.

Diaspora University Town

Walter joined the Diaspora University Town project in 2019 as a property developer and university founder.
